Cycling in the Dark

As the evenings get shorter (and especially when daylight savings ends in November), bike commuting gets a little bit tougher. Don’t forget to make sure your bike light is ready for the dark evenings on your commute home. Kansas law (statue 8-1592-a) requires that bicyclists riding in dark conditions have a white front headlight and a rear reflector, but recommends a rear red light in addition to the reflector. We agree with that recommendation and encourage the addition of reflectivity on other parts of your bicycle, helmet or clothing as much as possible. We have a wide variety of lights and reflective products – including rechargeable lights and front/rear light combos. Make sure the cars can see you, so that you stay safe on the roads!
