The Pathfinder is a locally owned and operated outdoor equipment store in Manhattan, Kansas. We opened in 1975 and specialize in gear and clothing for bicycling, backpacking, canoeing, climbing, traveling, fly fishing and other outdoor activities.

The Pilgrimage
I made a pilgrimage to the mountains
And their peaks pierced my mind
And my consciousness flowed
With the crashing streams
Through the depthless sapphire of a lake;
It was frozen on a snowfield
Warmed on a rock by transparent sun
Sweetened by a flower
Roughened by  granite;
And it came back immersed in tranquility
And gave me courage
